In worker\u2019s compensation the claim is called a 132(a), after the Labor Code section that governs it.<\/p>\n<p>Section 132(a) prohibits employers from discrimination or retaliating against an employee who has sustained a workplace injury or filed a claim for workers compensation benefits.
